5 Trade Show Display Tips To Draw Leads In
Exhibiting at trade shows is an excellent way to gain exposure for your business. When presenting at a trade show, it is important to have a strong brand identity. It's also vital to market your products and services clearly. To achieve these, you must first draw prospects in and engage them. How? With effective displays that are both attractive and informative!
Here are 5 tips to help you design your space effectively at the next trade show:
One: Plan ahead. Design your booth early.
This may seem obvious but it's easy to procrastinate, especially when you suppose you'll have a "simple" booth. Once you've booked your space, start planning. Consider the equipment you'll need, the facilities available, the artwork to be displayed, your graphic designer's and printer's deadlines and turnaround times. Some displays like lightweight foam boards can take only a day to produce, but a lot require a few days to a few weeks to put together.
Two: Display high
"What?" If you've ever been to any sort of trade show or market, you'll know that attendees always look up. With the crowds and multiple booths lined up, looking directly ahead can be overwhelming, and being able to view something near the ground is only possible up close. So display high.
Position your well-designed signs up high so you can help attendees spot your brand from a distance. It will help to use eye-capturing tall displays such as large backdrops, flags and retractable banners. If you have products, services list or other important info, display them vertically, with the most important items along the average line of sight.
Three: Stay organized
Keep you space tidy and easy to navigate. Avoid clutter and remove unnecessary items from the attendees' viewpoint. Help direct your leads' eyes to the important things such as your featured products, samples or services. Help them take in relevant information. A disorganized booth might make them feel overwhelmed and wander away.
Four: Give out some swag
Hand out samples. If you're selling services, offer either a fun giveaway or a useful giveaway. Try to think outside the box and hand out swag that people will actually want to keep or talk about. Are the trade show organizers handing out bags? If not, that's a good place to start. Attendees always end up with handfuls of samples - might as well provide them with a branded bag.
Five: Light it up!
Use spotlights on your stand-up displays. Consider tablets or TV screens for your presentations. Light up your company logo by using a custom lightbox.
Finally, one bonus tip: Make sure that your booth design reflects your brand and conveys the message you want to share clearly.
